Platform
The most important part of my platform is "leading with empathy". To me this means listening to the issues that everyday Hoosiers are bringing to me, and allowing them to feel heard. Below are a few of the issues that are most relevant in our Statehouse right now, as well as nation wide.
This also means ensuring every Hoosier, no matter their need, is able to access the things that they need. While this does mean accessibility for those who are disabled, this also means ensuring our immigrants have resources provided to them to start life in the United States, and that every Hoosier can live their truth.
To give me your view on what my focus should be, look at my Get Involved page!

Immigration:
-
The diversity of America is what makes us strong. With people from all over the world, we have an opportunity to learn about issues in a way other countries do not.
-
A student at a diverse high school, I got to see this up close. I believe I am better for having learned from a young age how to co-exist with people who were different than me.
-
This is something we should celebrate, and take the opportunity to learn from, not fear.
